Computers:
- Think about upgrades on your old computer. With more memory and a DVD drive, you might have what you need for very few pennies.
- Check eBay for refurbished computers.
- Ask for extra ink for your printer at a reduced price.
- Make sure you are getting basic software as part of the deal, but check that it is not trial or limited edition software.
- Make sure you have toll-free technical support, and ask if it’s quality support. A good dealer will tell you.
- The warranty should provide either onsite or carry-in service. If you have to send it to the factory for service, it will entail too much time, could be damaged en route, and may be totally replaced before you know it which can cause you to lose your information.
